Dr. T. Waring Johnston, D.C., holds a Doctorate degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He received his Bachelor's degree from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Dr. Johnston is a state and national board-certified chiropractor who uses the
"Gonstead" technique for spinal adjustment, a method which has proven successful on patients with low-back disorders such as bulging or slipped discs. He has seen positive results in a high
percentage of the hundreds of patients he has treated with alignment problems of various causes, including congenital defects, and sports-related, on-the-job and auto accident injuries.
Effective chiropractic care requires extensive study and training, as well as a long-term commitment to continuing education. Dr. Johnston is dedicated to keeping current with new
methods, research and equipment, as evidenced by the wide range of seminars he attends throughout a given year. Dr. Johnston often collaborates with the traditional medical
community to help patients improve their health and well-being. He believes that a combination of the traditional medical approach and the chiropractic alternative approach just might be the answer for
certain individuals who are seeking relief from acute and/or chronic pain. On
a personal note, when he is not practicing
chiropractic, Dr. Johnston enjoys spending
time with his wife and two children.
He also enjoys playing golf when time
permits. |
